Magnolia Regional Medical Center has been honored by the Arkansas Hospital Association (AHA) for outstanding hospital advertising, marketing and public relations with a 2017 Diamond Award.

MRMC took the top Diamond Award in the Advertising–Print/Digital category for its 2016 “Faces of MRMC” Facebook campaign. The campaign introduced hospital employees to its Facebook audience on a bi-weekly basis during a 12-week period.

The AHA Diamond Awards recognize excellence and encourage improvement in the quality, effectiveness, and impact of healthcare marketing and public relations in the state of Arkansas. The awards are presented each year during the AHA Annual Awards Dinner held in conjunction with the AHA Annual Meeting and Trade Show.

This year’s award was presented to Karen Weido, MRMC marketing director, during the awards dinner held on October 5 at the Little Rock Marriott.
