OBJECTIVE:
The Magnolia Regional Medical Center Workplace community utilizes “work groups” and “social groups” within the Workplace platform. Appropriate content for each subset of the platform are specified.
POLICY:
All posts and comments within the MRMC Workplace community must follow the below specified guidelines. Any posts or comments that vary from these standards will be removed from the MRMC Workplace community
PROCEDURE:
All Groups:

  • Do not post anything that is false, inflammatory, misleading, obscene, defamatory, profane, discriminatory, libelous, threatening, harassing, abusive, hateful, or embarrassing to another person or entity.
  • Do not post anything referencing nudity, provocative topics, alcohol, nicotine, vaping, illegal drugs, or illegal behavior.
  • Understand that words, images, and videos are powerful tools that can affect others both positively and negatively. If you are unsure whether a post is in violation of this policy, check with your supervisor before posting.
Work Groups:
  • Work groups should be used to share information that is specific to MRMC.
  • All posts and comments need to contain information pertinent to events taking place at MRMC and/or be disseminating information that is needed for MRMC staff.
  • No personal content is to be shared, nor information that is not relevant to MRMC.
Social Groups:
  • Social groups should be used to communicate about common interests outside of the MRMC work groups.
